Dear parishioners,

As part of our social outreach programme, we in the Church of the Holy Name have twinned with Our Lady Immaculate Senior National School in Darndale.

This is the  6th year in our relationship and we are again asking for your assistance with the Annual Toy Appeal for the children of the National School which has the highest DEIS status.

This year we have given ourselves a target to raise €3,000 for this appeal to purchase toys e.g. footballs, arts &, crafts, sensory toys, board games, skipping ropes and squishy mallows. Donations of toys are also very welcome and we will circulate a list of what is appropriate.

As part of this Appeal, there will be a special collection after each Mass next weekend Saturday and Sunday the 14th and 15th November.

However, you can make a donation at any time through the Parish Office or by using the donate facility on the parish website.

There has always been a generous contribution in the past by you, the Parishioners, for which we wish to express our gratitude!

Many thanks, Parish Pastoral Council
