Two beautiful large planters have recently been installed at the Parish Centre, made possible through support from Dublin City Council’s Climate Action Fund. Built by the Terenure Men’s Shed, the planters are designed to be robust and long lasting, with integrated seating so visitors can relax and enjoy the planting throughout the year.

 A huge thank you goes to the wonderful group of volunteers from the parish and from Ranelagh Pride of Place who came together to fill the planters with over a tonne of peat free soil mix. They also planted a colourful selection of spring and summer plants chosen to support a wide range of pollinators while bringing seasonal interest and enjoyment to everyone who uses the centre.
