Baptisms
The parish baptisms are held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 12.30pm. For information and booking forms, please contact the Parish Office.
A minimum of 3 weeks notice is required. Please provide a copy of the child’s civil birth certificate at the time of booking. If you are resident within Beechwood Avenue parish then we will also need a letter of permission from the parish of residence.
Please also note that godparents must be over 16 years of age, must have been confirmed and must be practising Catholics.

Weddings
Weddings are by appointment with the priests of the parish. No booking will be accepted for a wedding until the couple intending to get married have spoken in person with one of the priests. A minimum of 3 months notice is required for all marriages in the Dublin diocese.

Confirmation
Confirmation takes place for Scoil Bride, Lios Na nOg & Sandford Parish National School by arrangement each year.

First Reconciliation & First Eucharist
Sandford Parish National School, Lios na nOg, and Scoil Bride follow the ‘Do This In Memory of Me programme’ attending monthly Mass with the necessary preparation.
Sandford Parish National School attends at 11.30 am Sunday Mass, and Lios na nOg and Scoil Bride attend at 10.00am Irish Mass.
First Eucharist takes place during Sunday Mass over three Sundays in May each year.

Penance
At Christmas and Easter, the Rite of reconciliation takes place and weekly confessions take place after Saturday Morning Mass and before Saturday evening Mass and by request.
