Behind the doors you pass to get to your home there are many people quietly struggling to get by:
Struggling to put food on the family’s plate as they need all their money for rent
Struggling to get warm so they go to bed early as they can’t afford to heat the bedsit
Struggling to find money for the Christmas demands
Struggling through this week – and terrified of what the following one might bring – no money for presents? Hunger? Homelessness. You might not see them – but we do!
SVP helps people take control of their lives by assisting them to become self-sufficient. Many of you regularly support our work. We rely on this generosity as, without your help, we simply would not be able to support those struggling. This Christmas we are asking you to please give to the Ranelagh Saint Vincent de Paul Appeal so we can help those most in need in our neighbourhood.
Our annual door to door envelope drop will take place on Saturday December 6th and our annual collection will take place at the Masses this weekend Saturday and Sunday December 6th and 7th. This will replace the Share collection.
We greatly appreciate your generosity as we cannot do our work without your support. You might not see the difference you make- but we do.
Thank you!
