Ministers of the Word for our Parish – New Members

Ministers of the Word play an important part in the liturgical celebrations of our parish in Ranelagh. As lay people we proclaim the Word of God at weekend Masses ( 5.30 on Saturday, 9.30 (as Gaeilge) and 11 am on Sunday) and some other Services. The role requires an ability to communicate effectively in public ( with microphone assistance of course) and some familiarity with and appreciation of, scripture. We are looking for new members for our group. Members would volunteer on a monthly rota, the expectation being that members would typically not be required to read more than once per month. Advice and training will be provided to new members.
