Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes – Funding Appeal – Cake Sale – Sunday 22nd June.

Published on June 16, 2025

Dear Parishioners,

Each year, the Dublin Diocese organises a special pilgrimage to Lourdes, offering spiritual renewal

and support to many, including those who are sick or in need of healing. To make this meaningful

journey more accessible, the Diocese provides financial assistance to help cover some of the costs

for pilgrims who are ill or facing other challenges.

Again, this year, Beechwood Parish is proud to support this important initiative. The Parish Pastoral

Council  has committed to raising €1,200 as our contribution to the Diocesan Pilgrimage Fund.

The funds raised locally will go specifically to assist those who are sick or experiencing financial

hardship, and who would otherwise be unable to take part in the pilgrimage.

To help reach this goal, we are holding a Cake Sale on Sunday, 22nd June, after both Masses here at

the church. We warmly invite you to support this effort, whether by donating home-baked goods for the sale,

purchasing cakes on the day, or making a monetary cash donation toward the fund.

Your generosity will directly support those in our Diocese who might otherwise be unable to

experience the blessing of Lourdes.

Thank you in advance for your kindness and support.
